Tristan Roberts, 18, used an AI chatbot to research murder methods and weapon selection before killing his mother in Prestatyn, Wales. The AI provided advice after initial refusals, directly facilitating the crime. Roberts was sentenced to life imprisonment for the premeditated murder.
